Swanson Construction Systems is a fourth-generation plastering company that has strong roots in South Texas. Many of the iconic landmarks have been touched by the labor and skill of a Swanson plasterer. Alf Swanson learned the trade shortly after arriving in Texas in the 1920’s. He left his family home in Sweden as a young man to join his Uncles Arvid and Alfred in plastering businesses and homes. He was a determined man that was not afraid of hard work. It didn’t take long for him to learn English, Spanish, and how to become a master of his craft. 

Alf passed on his skills, work ethic and eye for detail to his son’s Kevin and Leland and they have since passed on their knowledge to Casey Swanson. Casey learned the trade the same way his father and grandfather did, from the bottom up.
